Growing up listening to my father play classical piano was definitely an inspiration. Though dad taught me the piano basics, my love was for the guitar, which I took up at age 10. From there, I played solo, in bands all through high school and college. Today, I enjoy writing music from folk to pop, and alternative rock. I love all types of music except rap and country.
